Greetings NEA-Jurupa Family,
WOOHOO!!! We made it to Spring Break. With all of the changes that will be happening upon our return, I hope that you all find time to relax and rejuvenate, to unplug and unwind, to find time for yourselves, and to have fun over the break! I’m really looking forward to getting some much needed outdoor time, and watching “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” AND the Snyder Cut of “Justice League”!
Since the MOU was approved and site administration have been holding staff meetings about the return to in-person, additional questions have come up. Please see the attached letter above for some clarifications. More will inevitably come once we return.
Also, from CTA: ” The SBE voted unanimously to apply to the federal Department of Education (DOE) for additional flexibility for state testing in schools in Spring 2021, allowing districts to use their own local assessments to measure students’ growth and needs.
This action puts decision-making right where it should be: in the hands of local educators, parents and communities. You can learn more about the decision on the California Department of Education’s website here.” What this means for JUSD still remains to be seen…
