Greetings NEA-Jurupa Family,
We made it!!! It’s been quite the school year so far. Thank you for your continued compassion, empathy, grace, kindness, patience, and understanding. You are truly inspiring.
To our Elementary Members, hopefully all goes well tomorrow! To our Secondary Members, enjoy your work from home day tomorrow!
Bargaining Survey #2: Please take a few minutes to complete the survey. It is based on the results of the initial one from November. Based on the results, the Association intends on opening Articles VI- Safety, VII-Hours of Duty, VIII- Class Size, and XV- Extra Compensation. We are also soliciting feedback on Article XII- Transfer and Reassignment. The survey will be open until Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.
District Equity Survey: This will be open until tomorrow, December 17th. The more participation by staff and parents, the more accurate picture the district will have. Please consider sharing it with your students’ guardians/parents through your normal modes of communication. Thank you to all of you who have taken the time to do this!
I hope that you and your loved ones have a wonderful Holiday Season full of comfort, joy, laughter, love, and peace. I wish you nothing but the best for 2022!
Make sure to take time for yourselves to rejuvenate, relax, and rest. Enjoy your much deserved break and we’ll see you on January 10th.
Best to all of you. Please continue to stay safe and well.
In Unity-
Wendy Eccles 🙂
