TGIT!! I hope that you all continue to stay safe and well, and that you are finding time for yourselves and your loved ones. Most importantly, please remember to set boundaries around work. Anything that can wait, should wait… If you’re not good to yourself, you’re no good to anyone else.

Last night, the NEA-Jurupa Executive Board approved two MOUs, one for Wednesday High School Graduations and one for Elementary Special Education Caseloads of 23. Last year, the Executive Board approved a similar Graduation MOU and the Elementary Caseload MOU is in line with Secondary Caseloads (ratified with last year’s Tentative Agreement). Additionally, we approved a donation of $200 to the Jurupa Valley Lion’s Club for Food Fest (monies contributed go towards scholarships). MOUs are attached below.
Tomorrow, the JUSD Board of Education will be conducting a Special Study Session regarding Re-opening of schools. The public hearing session will begin at 9:00 am, public verbal comments can be submitting beginning at 8:00 am. Closed Session will begin at 10:30 am. Here are the links to the JUSD School Board Study Session and Public Verbal Comments. After the meeting, I will share any new information.
