I wanted to share a little bit of good news with you. Last night, the NEA-Jurupa Executive Board approved, without objection, a Side Letter of Understanding to our Distance Learning MOU. The side letter specifically addresses evaluations. In short, evaluations are suspended this year for all certificated staff with the exception of Probationary Staff Members (evaluations for probationary staff are required in order to continue toward permanent status). Attached above is the side letter above for your reference. If you have specific questions, please feel free to reach out.
I hope this gives you some relief, it’s one less thing to worry about during these interesting times!
