Greetings NEA-Jurupa Family,
I hope that your week went well. Thank you so much for the patience and grace you have extended, especially over these past couple weeks (and really over the past year). Still can’t believe that it’s been a year since the world turned upside down.
We are currently putting the finishing touches on the Return to In-Person MOU. NEA-Jurupa’s Executive Board met again yesterday and has spent over 10 hours going over the document with a fine toothed comb. Hopefully we will have it completed, approved, signed, and shared early next week. I also plan on working with the District on FAQ’s that will answer many of your lingering questions. Fingers crossed… Right now, I’m thinking of one of my favorite songs “Times Like These” by the Foo Fighters…. It’s times like these you learn to live again.
For those of you who got your second COVID shot today, hopefully the side effects are minimal.
Please find time this weekend to relax and rejuvenate, to unplug and unwind, to close your eyes and just breathe…
