Greetings NEA-Jurupa Family,
I hope that your week went well. There’s been quite a bit going on… As we head into the weekend, here are a few pieces of information.
First, if you haven’t had the chance, our Return to In-Person Instruction Survey will be open until 5:00 pm this evening. Over 550 of you have already completed it. Thank you for your input! Survey results will be shared on Monday with you, the District, and the School Board.
We wanted provide more clarity on AB/SB 86 and the potential return to in-person instruction. Please see attached letter above. This Ed Source Article provides additional information.
Finally, here is the link to the Board Meeting on Monday, March 8th
Open Public Session – 6:00 p.m. Join Meeting: https://youtu.be/cKsKV76u5Ns
The meeting will be in-person with limited capacity in order to follow physical distancing guidelines.

As per the community letter sent out on Wednesday, the Board will be hearing the plan for returning, but will not vote until Wednesday, March 10th at a Special Meeting set to begin at 5:00. We will still hold a virtual Representative Council meeting that day, but will adjourn promptly at 5 in order for those who choose, to be able to listen to the meeting.
Again, thank you for your continued compassion, empathy, grace, kindness, patience, and understanding. I hope that you are able to find time to relax and rejuvenate, to unplug and unwind. The season finale of Wandavision is at the top of my to-do list!
Best to all of you and your loved ones. Please continue to stay safe and well!
Wendy Eccles 🙂
