Checking-In/Updates/Tentative Agenda

Good morning NEA-Jurupa Family,

I hope that you were all able to find some time for rejuvenation and relaxation over the long weekend. It was definitely a bit “warm” out there and I was admittedly glad to wake-up to the overcast skies today. Some of you may have been impacted by the fires in Oak Glen/Yucaipa. Please let us know if there is any assistance or support that you may need.

As we venture into another week of Distance Learning, please remember to continue extending empathy, grace, kindness, patience, and understanding to yourselves, because there is no doubt that you are extending those things to others. You make a difference every single day in the lives of your colleagues, students, and community at-large. Thank you for all that you do.

Here are some of the upcoming events for those who are interested:

•  September 9: NEA-Jurupa Representative Council, 3:45 via Zoom (see   Tentative Agenda attached above)- Zoom link and supporting documents will be sent to reps tomorrow. Please reach out to your site reps, area directors, NEA-Jurupa officers, or me with questions or concerns.

One of the things that makes me laugh on Zoom is playing “Who’s Alice”… So,

Wishing you all continued safety and well-being. Best to you and your loved ones!
